Continuing the Legacy
The Guitar Studio, LLC. is owned and operated by Will and Courtney Douglas. This family owned private lesson studio and classical guitar retail shop continues the tradition started by the Will's dear friend, mentor, teacher and founder of The Guitar Studio, J. Michael Dailey (1956 - 2021). We put the Fort Worth, TX community first by also offering community outreach and engagement. Fort Worth is our home and we are grateful to be a part of the its rich and supportive culture.
Our Story
Will and Courtney Douglas, with their daughter in tow, operate this business nestled in the heart of Fort Worth's Cultural District. While Will handles the artistic side of the studio, it is Courtney, our Operating Manager, that makes the day-to-day of The Guitar Studio the best possible experience for our students and customers. Courtney earned her Bachelor of Business Administration and Management degree from Tarleton State University, graduating Magna Cum Laude from the University's Honors College, and in the very top of her class in the College of Business Administration.
