ABOUT
A Community Built Around the Guitar
At The Guitar Studio, we believe that music is best experienced
together. The Guitar Studio Community Ensemble brings guitarists
of all backgrounds and abilities into one room to explore the
rich tradition of classical guitar repertoire — and to have a
great time doing it.
Each ensemble is organized into skill-level sections so that
every member can grow at their own pace while contributing to a
shared musical experience. Along with regular rehearsals,
members will have the opportunity to perform in public concerts
throughout the season.
Whether you have been playing for decades or just picked up the
guitar for the first time, there is a place for you here.

HOW IT WORKS
What to Expect
Biweekly Rehearsals
Ensembles meet every other week for 90 minutes. Rehearsals are
structured, focused, and — most importantly — a lot of fun.
Skill-Level Sections
Members are placed into sections based on experience: Beginner,
Intermediate, Advanced, and Performer. Everyone plays together,
but repertoire and expectations are tailored to each section.
Public Performances
Throughout the semester, ensembles perform in public concerts —
a rewarding opportunity to share your progress with family,
friends, and the community.
Semesters
Each semester spans a 5-month period. Fall semester runs July through November. Spring semester runs
January through May. June and December are our off-periods.
